Project environment
| ▪ | February 2009: Experts meeting organised by the European Commission to elaborate the "Checklist on restructuring processes" |
| ▪ | September- November 2009: Project aims to turning this checklist into a pratical, userfriendly toolbox. |
| ▪ | 12-13 November 2009: The toolbox will be presented during the European Commission Restructuring forum: "towards a European common orientation for anticipating and managing restructuring in a socially responsible way' |
Project objectives
| ▪ | To capitalise upon previous or present works, case studies and projects. There is no need for further case studies and investigations. The previous works must be summed up and disseminate. |
| ▪ | Experts will have to highlight examples of innovative existing strategies and tools, used in their respective countries in the current crisis. These examples will be linked with the "February Checklist" to contribute to the elaboration of fiches. |
| ▪ | The EURANEC network will be asked to present innovative existing strategies and tools, and to compare them with the proposed fiches. They will test the user friendliness and the feasibility of the fiches. |
Project expected outcomes
| ▪ | Writing down in 50 to 70 fiches presenting "tools", "settings', "devices" or "mechanism' allowing actors to anticipate and manage restructuring. |
| ▪ | Each fiche describe an existing tool that have been experienced and which is deemed as being efficient |
| ▪ | Two Kinds of fiches: - Presenting tools,settings, devices/ Presenting examples or good practices from various European countries |
| ▪ | A manual of users will also be produced |
| ▪ | The final outcome will be a book gathering the manual and the fiches both in paper and electronic versions. |
