The European Vocational Training Association (EVTA) is an international non-profit association of 19 principle members from 14 European countries:  Many of these are the primary national vocational training and in certain cases employment organizations of their respective countries.  Some are public and others semi-public. Together they:

 

Ø      Administer approximately 2000 training centers

Ø      Employ 50,000 people

Ø      Train over 1,000,000 people a year

Ø      Oversee a multi billion Euro budget

EVTA is recognized as a reference network for the European Commission and as a very important actor in the field of Vocational Training and Employment. We also coordinate many European projects in order to cover European Commission’s programs. We offer:

 

Ø      A response to communitarian offers

Ø      Advising to the European Commission

Ø      Creation of trans-national network

Ø      Elaboration of working groups

Ø      Forum for experts

Ø      Seminars

 

General conditions to become full member, associated member or affiliated member

 

Preliminary observation: EVTA works with two primary languages: English and French. Any translation in another language can be done at the applicant’s expense.

 

Art. 1: the different types of members, their rights, their obligations and the conditions to apply.

 

You may be part of EVTA in no other conditions than these:

 

1. FULL MEMBERS

 

Conditions:

Ø      To be « sponsored » by an organism

Ø      To pay the membership fee

Ø     One representative for each country. Two may be allowed, but it has to be decided by the Board of Directors

Ø  If more organisms from the same country want to be part of EVTA, one of them would be designated as member to represent its country. The others would be part of EVTA as associated members.

 

Obligations:

Ø      To pay membership fees

Ø      To contribute to EVTA’s activities

Ø      To have the required management, in order to undertake projects’ obligations

 

Rights:

Ø   AAttendance to all assemblies

Ø      Right to vote in all assemblies

Ø      Every right foreseen for this status

 

2. ASSOCIATED MEMBERS

 

Conditions:

Ø      To be « sponsored » by one of our  full members

Ø      To pay the membership fee

Ø      To have relevant experience in the fields of Vocational Training and Employment 

 

Obligations:

Ø      To pay membership fees

Ø      To contribute to EVTA’s activities

Ø      To have the required management, in order to undertake projects’ obligations

 

 Rights:

Ø      Attendance to General Assemblies

Ø      Right to vote, only when foreseen for the status

Ø      Right to make use of  the association

 

3. AFFILIATED MEMBERS

 

Conditions

Ø      To be “sponsored” by a member

Ø      To pay the membership fee

 

Obligations

Ø      To pay the membership

Ø      To contribute to EVTA’s activities

Ø      To dispose the necessary directive board

 

Rights

Ø      Attendance to General Assembly

Ø      Right to vote, only rights foreseen for this status

Ø      Right to call upon the association

 

Art. 2: To pay membership fees

 

Ø     The General Secretariat will send a reminder to pay membership fees on the first working day of December prior to the year on which they are due

Ø      Membership fees have to be paid before 30th April every year

Ø      If not:

1.      On 1st July you will temporarily lose your right to vote

2.      After two years, your case will be discussed during the General Assembly that necessary measures will be taken (exclusion or temporary actions)
