www.eaea.org The EAEA is a transnational, non-profit association whose purpose is to link and represent European organisations which are directly involved in adult learning. Its primary focus is NGOs whose principal aim is the education of adults, and it works where possible through national co-ordinating bodies for adult learning. Originally known as the European Bureau of Adult Education, it was founded in 1953 by representatives from a number of European countries. Today the association is made up of some 110 organisations in 30 countries – from Cyprus to the Nordic countries, and from Iceland to Russia.
