EVTA provides the following services in return for the affiliate membership:

  1. Your organisation has the right to propose to EVTA's Board of Directors
  2. Your organisation has client access to EVTA's internet site
  3. Your organisation has access to open EVTA meetings
  4. Services for bilateral mediation with other members of the Association
  5. Services as a partner switchboard
  6. Services of clearing house of information
The following services can be obtained additionally at friends tariffs:
  • services of facilitating exchanges/placement
  • services to co-produce EVTA's Extranet (only advertisements)
  • other services at request
  • your organisation has access to exclusive EVTA meetings (for members only)
  • your organisation has right to co-produce EVTA's internet site (only advertisements)

The EAEA is a transnational, non-profit association whose purpose is to link and represent European organisations which are directly involved in adult learning. Its primary focus is NGOs whose principal aim is the education of adults, and it works where possible through national co-ordinating bodies for adult learning. Originally known as the European Bureau of Adult Education, it was founded in 1953 by representatives from a number of European countries.

Today the association is made up of some 110 organisations in 30 countries – from Cyprus to the Nordic countries, and from Iceland to Russia.
