A restructuring process is a business reorganisation driven by a managerial decision with possible negative impact on employment. This may include reorganisation, closure, insolvency, merger & acquisition, downsizing, externalisation and delocalisation.

Following the evolution of the labour market, a special attention is given to the workers.  The labour market is facing the pressure of the departure of their qualified workers. The main issue is how to keep people qualified and upgrade the skills of workers in the companies.

 

Points of attention: upskilling of workers, migrants, ageing people, unemployed/job seekers and disabled people
