Professional area:
TRAINING DEPARTMENT
It has the objective to facilitate the incorporation into the labour world of all the unemployed people of the province of Valencia (Spain) by means of a suitable training and a professional support.
Actions developed and planned in 2002
The Direction of Training of IMELSA has developed the following training programs in 2002:
- Training Activities and of use creation
- Training and Documentation
- Factory of Use of Lluxent III
Occupational professional training courses
54 courses have been made, subsidized by the Conselleria de Empleo.
Emphasis was laid on the courses of Computer science, Occupational Training ,Geriatrics, Catering, Gardening, Masonry, etc.
Factory of Use, Llutxent III
A project whose objective is to continue with the works of rehabilitation of the Monastery of Llutxent that started in 1998 with a School Factory. At present, the work of rehabilitation of the "Factory of Use" with 48 students is divided in five specialities: Masonry, Carpentry, Stonecutting, Coatings, Stucco and Forge.
General methodology:
Imelsa is a managerial body that co-ordinates vocational training activities requested by the local government. The training is executed by independant teachers and trainers.
