In the project it is possible to capitalize upon past and present research work, forums, seminars as well as upon the large and various initiatives that took place in the different European countries during the last decades to anticipate and manage restructuring processes to provide practitioners with a guide. This guide can provide concrete recommendations, tools and strategies in the form of user-friendly fiches to be used on a day to day basis by the different actors of change management.
Experts will be asked to highlight examples of innovative existing strategies and tools, used in their respective countries in the current crisis. In collaboration with the EURANEC network of European regions for the anticipation of economic changes, the project proposes to test the user-friendly fiches. In the light of regions' reactions, the fiches will be adapted to be as close to reality as possible. The fiches will then be tied together in a document that will constitute the toolbox.
A restructuring Forum (organized by the European Commission) will be specially organised to present and disseminate the toolbox and will take place on November 12 and 13 .
