"Pathways for skills transfer"

pfst

Promotor:

CCB

Pathways for Skills Transfer (PFST) will create a model to identify and overcome existing barriers to the transferability of vocational qualifications for men and women working in the construction industry.

The model will facilitate the transferability of vocational qualifications in the European construction sector and encourage the free movement of skilled tradesmen and women.

Research data will enable the acceptability of qualifications from Poland and Hungary to be compared with the needs of employers in Western Europe and measured against best practice.

The project will enable a matrix of acceptable vocational qualifications to be created.

The matrix will help:

To identify training gaps and additional training needs for people whose qualifications cannot be recognized across EU member states
To identify and overcome the barriers to the transferability of vocational qualifications across EU member states.
