To implement a KM system is to ‘combine knowledge and know-how in processes, products, organisations, to create value’ (Jean-Yves Prax, Le Manuel du Knowledge Management).
We have put in place a system that allows you to find the information you are looking for, to discover linked information and to create new knowledge from archived information. This website is the first step: when you look for information about vocational training, it will not always be available on the website, but there will always be a way for you to access it, whatever your enquiry. Information is accessible by themes, types of sources or types of target.
At the European Council in Lisbon, in 2000, the Commission wrote the following objective in its development strategy: For the European Union ‘to become the world’s most competitive and dynamic knowledge-based economy by 2010.’ We integrate our actions with this approach, with the aim of disseminating, and promoting knowledge, recognizing knowledge whether from learning or practice and facilitating access to lifelong and lifebroad learning for every European citizen. Here you can put a general description of the topic, with eventually some links or buttons.
