1- Could you rapidly present your Training Institute/Region?
Internationaler Bund e.V. is one of the largest social and educational organisations in Germany (www.internationaler-bund.de). It offers a vast program of professional training for disadvantaged and disabled people, career counselling for young adults and adults as well as marginalized groups such as women and immigrants. Additionally, the activities encompass the promotion of social integration through professional orientation, training and further education.
The main fields of activity focus on vocational training in more than 30 professions. Besides, there are rehabilitation, vocational orientation and preparation classes. Internationaler Bund also offers off-the-job training, training support, retraining, further education, sheltered houses and counselling. Other areas of activity are job creation projects, social services (voluntary social work) and the coordination of international educational projects.
