Status:
FOREM was set up by a decree from the Walloon Regional Council on 16th December 1988.

Regulated by:
The main funding sources of FOREM's actions and services are as follows:

• 87,7% of subsidies come from the Walloon Region, including the Unemployment Reduction Programme,
• 1,9% come from the European Social Fund,
• 5,8% come from employers'contributions to the costs of training, shares of promoters in the Unemployment Reduction Programme, investments interest, sale of goods, etc.,
• 3,8% come from the Ministry for Employment and Labour,
• 0,5% from International Relations.
