| At the Conference in Bruges
on Knowledge Sharing in the world of Vocational Training, Exemplo
was introduced as a starting point to build a European Network in
which Communities of Practice can be set up. The European Commission
(DG EAC) underlined this event by their important contribution. The
most important achievement was the possibility for trainers and
people working in the field, belonging to different organizations
and living in different countries, to take part in a discussion
about a common theme in a European environment.
The Conference proved that there were no limits in Europe, that
time differences and geographical spreading did not create barriers
for people wanting to exchange their own knowledge and experiences.
So the obstacles that prevented the dialogue in the past have been
surpassed, the national borders exist only in our minds, and the
fear of committing errors should not keep us from taking the road
to knowledge sharing and dialogue. |
