| Objectives
EVTA, the European Vocational Training Association has developed
a performing tool to facilitate the exchange of Good Practices
in Europe. This tool, called Exemplo, makes it possible to
manage knowledge under the most favourable conditions thanks
to the latest possibilities of the new information and communication
technologies.
we are organizing our first European Conference on 10 and
11 October 2002 in Bruges in order to launch Exemplo on a
large scale in our unique network of communities of interest,
in which experience and knowledge is exchanged between its
50,000 trainers working in 1,000 training centres. They welcome,
guide and train around 1,000,000 people every year to help
them on their way to join the international, national and
regional labour market. At this Conference, we intend to start
the debate on how Sharing Knowledge can have a decisive impact
on the organisation of lifelong learning.
The second day will start with a live satellite transmission
that will be viewed by over 2,000 trainers from our network
in around 18 sites across Europe.
We wish to integrate this process into the mainstream of
the present debate called “the Bruges Process” and the the
D.G. Education and Culture as well as CEDEFOP will participate
actively.
